Sevako Solutions ("Sevako," "we," "us," or "our") builds business software and automation tools for Indian SMEs. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through sevako.in (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Enquiry form: When you submit an enquiry, we collect your full name, WhatsApp number, email address, business type/industry, the product or service you're interested in, your business size (staff/locations), and any message you choose to add.
• Chat widget: If you use the on-site chat assistant, the messages you type are processed in order to generate a reply. We may retain chat transcripts to improve response quality and follow up on enquiries raised through chat.
• WhatsApp / phone / email contact: If you reach out to us directly via WhatsApp, phone call, or email, we receive whatever information is visible through that channel (e.g. your phone number, name on WhatsApp, or email address) along with the content of your message.
• Automatically collected data: Like most websites, our hosting and analytics infrastructure may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, for security and performance purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your enquiry and provide you with quotes, demos, or product information
• Contact you via WhatsApp, phone, or email regarding your enquiry
• Improve our website, products, and chat assistant
• Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your information for unrelated marketing without your consent, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. How We Store & Process Data

Enquiry form submissions are stored in a secured Google Sheets database accessible only to authorized Sevako team members. Chat widget conversations are relayed through a backend service to a third-party AI language model provider in order to generate a response during your session; message content may be processed by that provider in accordance with its own data handling practices.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the Site, including form-handling infrastructure (Google Sheets/Apps Script), a backend hosting provider for our chat assistant, and an AI language model provider used solely to generate chat replies. These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing purposes.

Clicking our WhatsApp links will open a chat in the WhatsApp application, which is operated by WhatsApp/Meta and governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

5. Cookies & Tracking

The Site does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Should this change in the future — for example, to add analytics — we will update this Policy accordingly.

6. Data Retention

We retain enquiry and chat data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, maintain business records, and comply with legal or accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data with the service providers described in Section 4, or where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process.

8. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Withdraw consent for further contact

To exercise any of these rights, email us at enquiry@sevako.in with your request, and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for business owners and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
